We always have the best time in Pentwater. Been coming for years and years! We loved this house location. So close to the beach and watching boats come in and out of the channel is so amazing. The fans in the house are wonderful. Deck has tons of seating. We loved all the space and the outside shower. See you next year!

The cottage was immaculate! There were some upgrades from last year...new bed spreads, new shower curtain, and some additional kitchen supplies. And for those with kids, a new swing set, and picnic table. Deer and turkeys came to visit too! We love it here!

The house and location were great. The only thing I would say is the bedrooms upstairs need checking for garbage along the beds, there was a few items left on the side of one of the beds. We enjoyed our stay and would love to rent again!

We love it and it's our 3rd or 4th times. The only thing that bed sheets fitting does not fit right on the queen size beds. They need to get queen for three bedrooms. We'll bring our own if they don't have the correct size sheets. Thank you, Cheryl

Great condo & even better location. Right in the heart of downtown Pentwater! 5-10 minute walk to the beach. So convenient for shopping & restaurants. Literally right above the best coffee shop! Awesome experience & stay.

We have been renting in Pentwater for 35 years and Life is Better on the Lake is by far the best house we have ever rented. Well appointed, clean, easy to take care of and plenty of space inside and out for our annual family get together. The view from the deck never disappoints. We are already looking forward to our stay for next year. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

Overall the house was excellent. A great location, lots of space, and a fully stocked kitchen. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the house was in need of a good cleaning. Every room had spiderwebs and cobwebs on the light fixtures or up in the corners and the furniture was dusty. Besides that everything was wonderful and we will definitely stay again!

It’s a fantastic house and location. Having the lake & beach right outside our door was amazing. I loved hearing the waves at night and the beds were comfortable. Perfect for our family. I would give it a rating of 5 stars if there was a better parking situation.

We loved staying here! We biked into town almost every day. Very convenient, but secluded enough that it was quiet. Very spacious living areas. Beds were comfortable. Everything was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Once a year, our family gets together at the Hart Cottage. For our entire family, who are now spread throughout the Midwest at colleges, the week we spend in Pentwater at the Hart Cottage is the most special time of the year for us.

The main cottage was immaculate, with a lot of nice amenities, including very nice dishes, and silverwear. The washer & dryer was a very nice bonus! We appreciated having the carriage house as well, which gave us two different areas, which allowed for some separation. We really would like to have opportunity to come back the same week, next year!

Great house for all day! Morning to night this place has a great kitchen, big bathrooms, nice deck and living room area. Beds and bedrooms are perfect. Perfect for a family of 4 plus room left over! And storage room for our bikes and car in the garage! One thing that could be nice is a fire pit outside maybe down by the hammocks. Otherwise a great stay.

Super nice cottage in the perfect location - convenient access to town and the beach! The deck in the back is great and gets evening shade - most dinners were eaten outside. The kids loved playing in the yard. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a nice selection of toys for the kids! The kitchen was beautifully clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms are updated. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location and great backyard for campfires. House worked well for us. Liked being able to add towels and linens. Towels were very nice, as were most linens. One set of linens was stained. Suggest adding few more details on listing as to what is provided. Thanks for a great stay.

Hancock House and Carriage House is just a wonderful place to stay. The hosts have thought of everything vacationers could possibly need to have a great time. The kitchen is really awesome for cooking big meals.

Our second stay - very comfortable and has everything we need, including air conditioning, linens, washer & dryer. Our relatives have also stayed there. It might be helpful to have some instructions for tv/remotes etc.

I love bringing my mom here for a getaway from her assisted living. The house is so peaceful, and she enjoys sitting on the deck and watching the boats. It’s the perfect place to make new memories together. Can’t wait to come back!
