Located just a few houses north of the Pentwater Dari Creme (corner of Hancock and Lowell) where the traffic slows and the quiet sets in. Close to town and 4 blocks to Lake Michigan/Charles Mears state park with its clean, sandy beaches and stunning sunsets.

The main house and carriage house are rented together. Main house was built in 1876 and was completely remodeled in 2023 by Insignia Builders. The Carriage House was added to the property in 2005. Together, they make a great setup for families wanting to vacation together, yet have some separation.

Main House: Sleeps 6

The main house features a bright, cozy enclosed porch with large windows to enjoy summer breezes and some quiet time.

A large great room features a peak ceiling reaching 18’ with a large ceiling fan and a beautiful stone fireplace. LVP throughout. There is plenty of room for gathering. Comfortable seating, desk/puzzle table, High speed internet and a 55” Smart TV for you to enjoy your favorite streaming app. I-Home Bluetooth speaker/charger. Plenty of games and puzzles.

The great room opens up to a fully stocked kitchen that hosts the latest in appliances. It features a gas stove, drawer microwave, large capacity french door refrigerator and a quiet dishwasher. Dishes and glasses for 12, blender, 4 slice toaster, nice pots and pans as well as a variety of pans for baking. Quartz countertops & 7’ Island with seating for 4. The kitchen is central to both the living room and an adjoining dining area that also seats 4 and features a coffee station with a Keurig Duo Coffee maker which allows you to make a pot or an individual cup of coffee (k-cup). There is also plenty of pantry storage.

French doors open to a covered patio that joins the main home and the carriage house. It features a ceiling fan and a dining table with seating for 6.

One main bathroom features shiplap, bright lighting, tub/shower combination and storage closet w/hairdryer, flat iron and first aid kit.

A large laundry room is off the kitchen with easy access to the side porch. It features a stackable LG washer and dryer for your convenience.

2 Bedrooms: The largest room has a king size bed, closet & dresser and opens to a second area that features a nook with a twin bunk bed. The rooms are divided by a sliding barn door for privacy. The 2nd bedroom features a queen bed, closet and dresser.

All bedrooms have encased mattresses/pillow protectors, nice bedding & blankets, great lighting & ceiling fans operated by remotes

The main home features original paintings by the owner.

Carriage House: Sleeps 4

The adjoined Carriage house is quaint and lovely…packed with so much goodness! Opening the french doors you will see a lovely mini kitchen with open shelves. Stocked with dishes and glasses for 4, pots/pans to use on the counter top stove (2 burners), a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster and Keurig individual k-cup coffee maker plus a small 4 cup pot for brewing.

The dining table separates the kitchen from the gathering area, which features a smart tv for your streaming apps, high speed internet and Bluetooth I-Home speaker/charger.

The bathroom is between the 2 bedrooms, it has a stand up shower, shelves for storage and a hairdryer.

2 bedrooms: One with a queen bed, the second with two twins, both have closets and dressers. All beds have encased mattresses/pillow protectors, nice bedding and additional blankets/pillows. Both bedrooms have window air conditioners for your sleeping comfort.

Ceiling fans through the gathering area as well as in the bedrooms, plus a Dyson combination air purifier/Fan.

Large patio between homes with outdoor dining table. BBQ Charcoal grill & Gas grill, quality Adirondack chairs and additional seating off the carriage house. Large nicely landscaped gardens & grass backyard for games. Fire pit, Hammock, 2 Bikes and several lawn/beach chairs are also available (in shed).
