Welcome to Pentwater Village! People come to Pentwater for three reasons, the beach, lighthouses, and our shopping. This rental is just off Main Street and close to all three! We are set just one block off the main drag where you will find all sorts of unique spots to explore. Main Street is packed with boutiques, salons, antiques, ice cream, restaurants, and even a skating, surfing, and candy shop. From the front yard, you can see Pentwater Lake, located about 2 blocks down. Most importantly, you are a pleasant 5-minute walk from the beautiful Charles Mears beach and lighthouse. Pentwater is a short drive from multiple lighthouses, beaches, and the impressive Lake Sand Dunes. It is so charming to enjoy your Beach Vacation
BON TEMPS 53 is a 2-story, 3-bedroom cottage. The two bedrooms upstairs easily accommodate the adults, giving you a little space away from the kids. The master has a queen with a little room even for sleeping bags. The second bedroom has a full-size bed with a twin trundle and more room for sleeping bags. These bedrooms are not huge but have enough room to accommodate 2 small families if needed. Please keep in mind the third bedroom is very small, with just a twin trundle bed. It is perfect as a kids’ room, with its own TV.
Downstairs you will find a large living and dining area with plenty of room to spread out. The living room is set up with a large screen but also another smaller TV area where kids can watch movies or play games. The living room also has 4 sleeping spots. The couch was custom-built to include real mattresses to sleep on instead of a futon or pull-out bed. The house is set up, so you have plenty of room for family time, but you have the space to let the adults retreat to the upstairs or patio from time to time. There are two bathrooms, a full kitchen and dining room table, a breakfast bar and an extra couch and sitting area. in Beach Vacation you also have a private enclosed patio area with plenty of space and seating. There you will find a charcoal grill and a small shed full of beach toys you are welcome to use. You also have access to the washer, dryer, and internet while there.
Memory makers: For Beach Vacation Pentwater is famous for our sunsets. After my first Pentwater sunset, the crowd applauded, so grab a glass of wine and be sure to catch as many of those as you can. Another thing you really should not miss is the beach at Bass Lake. You can spend the day at the beach and then have a bonfire right there for dinner as you watch the incredible sunset. The walk down to the beach is short but you will be happy you packed lightly on your way back up. For a few dollars you should still be able go up in the Little Sable Point and Ludington Lighthouses. The best part about Pentwater Beach Vacation is that you will likely come back, so there is no rush to see everything in one trip. (For an extra $500 come back off-season for a romantic couples trip or just the girls/guys week.)
