Lovely Updated Home With Lots of Space

This spacious, year-round home base of an international family is designed to accommodate a visiting family, their dog, and friends, as well as memories from all over the world. We're located in a quiet part of Pentwater village, our beautiful cottage community. This home has 4-5 bedrooms, and 3 1/2 baths with central air. It will comfortably sleep 10-14, inquire.

Nana's room is a first-floor sitting/ bedroom with a double sleeper sofa (also has a computer desk). Immediately adjacent is a bath with ample shower stall. Three very large, bright bedrooms (Master: queen; back: queen plus twin with trundle; front: three twins), a tub/shower bath, and laundry are upstairs. The finished basement with independent access has a guest room (queen), shower bath, and kitchenette (microwave/ bar sink). Plus there's a super comfortable sleeper chair (twin) in the roomy den. All bedrooms have large closets; beds all have reading lamps. The main gathering place is an airy, open-floor plan living/ dining/ cooking space on the first floor. The furniture is flexible to accommodate groups of people gathering in different spots, and two sliding doors open to the front and back decks (child-proof gates) with rocker, double swing, patio set, and grill. Off the dining area you'll find the convenient powder room. A tiled breezeway between house and attached garage is the perfect place to kick off your shoes, offload gear, or keep the dog. From here, you have access to the downstairs where the den is - the laid-back place to watch t.v. and movies from a double-recliner sofa, or play board games at the large fold-away table.

A pool table is in the garage. For outdoor fun at home, there's a quiet side/ back yard (fully fenced) with hammock and fire pit under tall trees (and a laundry line to air-dry your beach gear). A larger, sunny lawn with badminton net is on the east side, and a basketball hoop in front.

A few steps across a single road take you to Pentwater School's adventure playground and ball fields. The public library (24 hour wireless internet access) and another well-equipped playground are only two blocks away. In 10 minutes, you can stroll downtown, to the mini golf, the public tennis courts, or any of four historic churches.

A 15-minute walk will take you to the Lake Michigan beach at Charles Mears State Park. Better yet, bring or rent a bike or scooter! We have additional child/pet gates, a toddler bed, step-up stool, kids' picnic bench, and some toys available upon request. Four of the bedrooms easily accommodate our toddler bed and/or your crib.

July/ August, Labor day week $1350.

Consecutive weeks receive a 10% discount.
Off season/ monthly rates upon request.
Up to two well house broke dogs are welcome (inquire)
(add $100 to security deposit, and $130 to weekly rate per dog).
